Parallel Kit

Parallel kits are required accessories for the following inverter series that support parallel operation, and there are 3 main types as follows though all of them share the same parallel PCB.

• STANDARD PARALLEL KIT

  This parallel kit can be installed directly to the inverters without need of using any cover. Inverter models that fall under this category include

  • 5048MKX (220-240V)
  • U-5648MS (220-240V)
  • LVX6048 (120/240V split phase)
  • All models in LV-MK series (120V)
  • Hybrid HV2-3048, HV2-5048 (220-240V)
  • Hybrid LV2424 (120V)
  • PIP-HS/MS/MG/MK/MGX 5KW 48V models (220-240V) 
  • PIP-MSD/MST 5KW 48V models (220-240V)

• 24V PARALLEL KIT

  This parallel kit requires a special cover in order to fit the PCB to the wiring terminal.  Models that fall under this category are: 4024MSP only

• LV PARALLEL KIT

  This parallel kit requires a special cover in order to fit the PCB to the wiring terminal.  Models that fall under this category are: 2424LV-MSD, 2424LV-HS only.

Each parallel kit is required for every unit configured in a parallel operation, and a kit will contain a parallel PCB as well as parallel cable and current sharing cable. In addition, parallel kits come in 3 different part numbers, so it is very important to provide the correct inverter model name, so that matching parallel kit can be supplied without mistake. Please do NOT install parallel kit in a model that does not support parallel operation!
