• The SP series solar pump inverters are available in two main types:

  • SP-2.2K LS (2.2KW, supports both single phase or 3-phase)
  • SP-2.2K, 7.5K, 11K, 15KW (3-phase only)
    

  and they offer battery-less operation by converting solar energy directly into AC power that drives water pumps.   This helps reduce overall system cost by offering excellent autonomy and low maintenance expense which is crucial in farming.

  

  The high efficiency SP series allows PV input of up to 800V (Voc) and includes built-in MPPT technology to maximize the return from your solar array.  Output voltage for single phase model 2.2k LS is based on 220-240V (Single Phase or 3-Phase motors), and for 3-phase models are 380, 400, 415 or 440VAC, (3-Phase motors only).  In the event when solar energy is not available, users still have the option to manually use AC input sources such as grid or a 3-phase generator to power the pump (bonus feature).

  IMPORTANT: MOTOR TYPE

  • Due to different software controls, synchronous type motors are NOT supported. Only asynchronous type pumps can be used.

  IMPORTANT: ON 3-PHASE MODELS ONLY

  • This inverter uses “either” solar or AC input source to power load.  Please remember to NEVER connect both power sources (solar and AC input) at the same time as this will result in instantaneous damage of the inverter and will void product warranty!
