HV 6048WP (IP65)



  • HV 6048WP is built similar to the HV/V2 series but with a robust upgrade to IP65 enclosure.  This improves the hybrid inverter’s durability to function flawlessly in weather challenging conditions.   As a hybrid inverter, it is defined by its ability to grid-inject power to city grids when there is excess PV energy, and similar to the HV/V2 series, HV 6048WP also do not any specific national grid certifications except CE so users may need to check with local authority before use.

    IP65 WP Installation Guidance

    • do NOT install units on sites where there is direct exposure to sunlight, rain, snow, >95% humidity, near antenna or at altitude >2km above sea level

    Using Generator as AC-Input

    • Generator power is recommended to be 50% larger than the inverter rating to reduce chances of overload.
    • Inverter-generator is recommended due to its cleaner output than conventional generators.  Unsuitable generator output may be rejected by the inverter.
    • When using generator as AC input – grid injection must be DISABLED.
