This new 5048MGX is a new member of the Off-Grid High PV input model family, with 4 new main features on top of the existing 5048MG model:
- Detachable LCD remote display
- Bluetooth wireless monitoring on Android
- Lithium battery BMS support (Pylontech, Weco, Soltaro, and Bak)*
Similar to the 5048MG, the MGX also offers maximum parallel number of units up to 9, so users can configure a parallel system either as single phase or 3-phase, as shown below.

Important note about Batteryless Operation
When configuring system in parallel using multiple units, please be sure that a battery MUST be used or otherwise it may cause system to work incorrectly, or possibly lead to damage. Due to the inconsistent nature of PV power, batteryless mode can only work normally under single-unit setup.

Using Generator as AC-Input
- Generator power is recommended to be 50% larger than the inverter rating to reduce chances of overload.
- Inverter-generator is recommended due to its cleaner output than conventional generators. Unsuitable generator output may be rejected by the inverter.
