• This PIP-GE series is a modified version of the PIP-HSE/MSE family, with extended high PV input voltage up to 500V.  Maximum charging current has also been increased to 80Amp.  

  *As of February 2018, PIP-GE model now is officially available in PF1 (power factor = 1.0) output and comes with built-in generator starter dry contact and supports batteryless operation.  Anti-dust filter protection feature has also been added to this model for use in harsh environment.
  

  

  There are two models in this series:

  • 3024GE (3KW/24VDC, 80A MPPT, max 500V PV open circuit)
    
  • 5048GE (5KW/48VDC, 80A MPPT, max 500V PV open circuit)

  Using Generator as AC-Input

  • Generator power is recommended to be 50% larger than the inverter rating to reduce chances of overload.
  • Inverter-generator is recommended due to its cleaner output than conventional generators.  Unsuitable generator output may be rejected by the inverter.
