The Split Phase LV series inverter family features inverters that can support 120V/240V split phase output which is the main power standard used in North American countries including US, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Split phase system is defined as having 2 x 120V hot wires (normally denoted as L1 and L2 and each hot wire is 120V in relation to the neutral wire), 1 neutral wire, and a ground wire. By using the two opposite phase hot wires together 240V is created between L1 and L2.
LV2424LV2424 is a max 2400w/24vdc inverter with 110/120V output and supports both 50Hz or 60Hz frequency. By wiring at least 2 units of LV 2424 parallel, the system can create split phase output, as illustrated below. Parallel kits are required on each unit and sold separately. Maximum parallel operation supported by LV2424 is up to 9 units max and possible configurations include: single phase, split phase and 3-phase applications. Note: split phase parallel is limited to 8 units max in total (4 max in each phase).

LV6048, rated 6KW/48V, is a model capable of creating split phase output without the use of parallel. These models can parallel up to 3 units, and from which one can configure system as 3-phase output 208V (phase to neutral). Parallel kits are built-in. LV5048 has been discontinued and replaced by LV6048.

Along with a built-in MPPT solar charger and large utility charger, these split phase LV models offer excellent versatility and flexibility to expand and are ideal for off-grid / grid optional use.
