The PIP 10KW MKX is a high-capacity off-grid solar inverter designed with an online double-conversion architecture, delivering zero transfer time ( $0\text{ ms}$ ) when utility power fails to protect critical and sensitive loads without interruption. Key features include:
- Zero Transfer Time: Continuous AC power output with zero switching delay during grid outages.
- Dual PV Inputs (2x MPPT Trackers): Features dual maximum power point tracking inputs to optimize solar generation across multiple array orientations. One tracker comes with a set of MC4 connectors, and the other tracker comes with 2 sets of MC4 connectors conveniently designed for 2 parallel strings.
- Dual AC Outputs: Intelligent dual output configuration allows for smart load management and prioritizing critical equipment during power outages or battery operation.
- High-Capacity Charging: Delivers up to $150\text{ A}$ maximum charging current combined across solar and utility sources.
- Scalable Parallel Operation: Supports parallel expansion for up to 12 units in both single-phase and three-phase configurations to meet demanding power requirements.
- Smart BMS Port: Dedicated BMS communication port offering plug-and-play compatibility with lithium battery brands including Pylontech, Weco, Soltaro, and BYD.
- Rugged & Connected: IP52 ingress protection guarding against dust and dripping water, equipped with integrated Wi-Fi for mobile monitoring and data logging.
IMPORTANT: restrictions when using zero-transfer time models (online design)
1. While using generators as AC input on our zero transfer time models (e.g. 1-3K LV-MK, 5048MK/5048MKX and 10KW MKX) is possible, it is strongly NOT recommended because there’s a strong possibility that the generator input cannot be “phase-locked” to establish a solid connection with the inverter. Zero transfer time inverters are designed based on online UPS topology and so it has a particularly high requirement to phase-lock with any AC input source. Generators output – even inverter-type generators – are known to have fluctuating frequency such that phase-lock may be very difficult, most likely not possible. While this typically won’t result in any damage, the generator input would become useless. For best performance, please refrain from using generators on these models and apply only utility grid.
2. ECO mode (grid bypass) is automatically disabled on parallel setup; only single unit operation will allow ECO mode / bypass. This is due to limitation of online design and cannot be changed.
